If your server encounters errors or fails to boot, use these quick troubleshooting solutions:
1. Error 137 / Sudden Shutdown (Out of Memory)
Cause: Application exceeded its allocated RAM limit.
Solution:
- Check your code for memory leaks (uncleared arrays or buffers).
- Optimize memory usage in your application.
- If your workload requires higher RAM (such as multi-session WhatsApp bots or heavy game servers), perform an Upgrade Plan to a higher RAM tier.
2. Error EADDRINUSE: address already in use
Cause: The requested port is still locked by a previous hanging process.
Solution:
- Click the Kill button on the Console tab, wait 5 seconds, and click Start.
- Ensure your code dynamically binds using
process.env.SERVER_PORT || process.env.PORT.
Cause: Missing dependencies or incorrect startup file names.
Solution:
- Check Console Logs: Look for red error messages (e.g.
Cannot find module 'dotenv').
- Check package.json: Ensure all required packages are declared in
dependencies.
- Check Startup Tab: Verify that Main File matches your entry file (e.g.
index.js).
4. Disk Full / Cannot Save Files
Cause: Server disk space has reached 100% capacity.
Solution:
- Open the Files tab.
- Delete obsolete log files or leftover
.zip archives.
