Keeping your account secure is essential to protect your servers, files, and databases from unauthorized access.
1. Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Click your profile avatar or username in the top-right corner of the panel and select Account.
- Under Two-Step Verification, click Enable 2FA / Configure.
- Open your mobile authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 2FAS), and scan the QR code.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code and your account password, then click Submit.
- Important: Save your recovery codes in a safe place in case you lose access to your authenticator app.
2. Updating Account Password
- Navigate to Account Settings.
- Under Update Password, provide your current password and your new password.
- Click Update Password.
3. Generating Client API Keys
If you want to automate server actions or build external Discord bots:
- In Account Settings, click the API Credentials tab.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a description (e.g.
Discord Bot Automation).
- Click Create, then copy and securely store your API Key.
