# Server Status

> Understanding server status indicators in the Pterodactyl control panel

## Server Status Overview

This page explains the meaning of server status indicators shown on the dashboard.

## Installing

The **Installing** status indicates that the server container environment is currently being provisioned by the system.

This status occurs during:

* Creating a new server instance
* Reinstalling a server
* Updating the Egg or runtime environment
* Reallocating container resources

### What you should do

* Wait for the provisioning process to complete (normally 10 seconds to 2 minutes).
* Do not repeatedly trigger restart or reinstall while the status is Installing.

### If Installing takes longer than 5 minutes

If the status remains Installing for more than 5 minutes, contact Aisbir Cloud support with your Server ID and username.

## Suspended

The **Suspended** status means the server is temporarily deactivated.

Common causes:

* Overdue invoice or expired service subscription
* Resource usage violation
* Manual administrative suspension

While suspended, the container is powered off and network access is blocked.

### How to resolve Suspended status

1. **Pay outstanding invoice**: Visit the billing portal to complete payment.
2. **Renew service**: If the plan has expired, renew the package.
3. **Contact Support**: If you believe this is an error, submit a support ticket with your Server ID and account email.
